Doom At Your Service is one of the most anticipated Korean dramas of 2021. It belongs to the fantasy/romance genre. The show has great actors. Seo In Guk is an absolute heartthrob in this series. And even though he plays a somewhat dark character, for sure girls will still fall in love with him. You will surely swoon at his every action. He doesn’t even need to speak up. Park Bo Young shows tremendous acting skills in this series. She will surely make you cry in many of the scenes. The chemistry between the two is perfect. Indeed, the romance and the relationship between the two characters are the highlights of this series. Their transition from enemies to lovers is impeccable.
Doom At Your Service actually has a deep message. It’s not your ordinary love story. It talks about serious subjects such as life and death. Each episode will leave you contemplating the important things in life. And the characters are so relatable. You’ll surely end up caring for them. The show will take you through a roller coaster of emotions. You’ll laugh and cry, often in a single episode. And though it talks about death, it’s not really morbid or depressing. The underlying message is actually one of hope and kindness. It’s actually a very inspiring and life-affirming show.
The series has an excellent soundtrack. The songs are beautiful and melancholic. If you’re paying attention to the OST of the different Kdramas, then this will probably be one of your favorites of all time. Doom At Your Service is not a perfect series. It has its share of flaws. The secondary and supporting cast was also good but there are parts in the series where you’ll feel that their talents were wasted. They could’ve added more flavor to the show instead of just being side attractions. You may find some parts of the series to be dragging and boring, especially if you’re not used to watching slow-burn kinds of series. Still, these cons are not deal breakers.
